You are my King Enthroned to be My Everything

The Alpha And Omega

Twice in the Book of Revelation God calls Himself, “Him who was” (1:4, 8). “The God that was” is how half the world thinks of Him. The One who created heaven and earth and has done little ever since. That is very foolish! Could a God of such creative imagination settle down sitting in heaven with his hands folded? He filled the empty skies with surpassing beauty and then went to sleep? Could any of us build even a house and abandon it? Could God ignore His own universe? God brought the glittering stars and the planets into being. That’s Him! “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” Psalm 19 says. The writer is thrilled. He is distracted from creation by the Creator. Modern science takes everything apart like taking a violin apart to see what makes the sound. It loses the Divine radiance. “In Thee o Lord, do I put my trust…” Do it today. I am the α and the Ω, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. – Revelation 22:13
